How following the unknown lead me to endless coconuts and my dream of living at the seaAbout a year ago, I decided to leave all the gushy comforts that I knew to venture the great unknown. Indeed it was unknown. New languages, 10 new countries, countless new faces, and oh yeah no shortages or new challenges!! But every single part of it lead me to where I am today. I am sitting here mid afternoon in the place I (basically on a whim) decided to make my new home, A small charming beach town in El Salvador. Honestly, before a year ago, I didn't even know this quaint little country existed. And when I say quaint, I mean it's the second smallest country in Central America.
On a 2 week stop over here back in February, it didn't take long before it captured my heart and my residence. So here I am, 6 months later settling into my new home and embracing to the best of my ability, all the ways being here is supporting different goals which were once just a dream. I found a humble home a few minutes walk from the beach and surf break. Learning to surf has become my new past time. It provides such a unique connection to nature, other surfers from around the world, as well as both physical and mental demands. In a nut shell, life has become simple. It came from giving up parts of myself I thought WERE ME and embracing parts of myself that I never gave mind to. Everyday I realize is about grasping more edges of the unknown. Loving what is. Exactly as it is. Being grateful for the each moment. Reminding myself of what I've come from. What I've been through. And no matter what, as long as I'm breathing, all the potential in the universe is at my fingertips. To this day I raise a coconut and salute the beauty of this incredible journey called life.

This is indeed a tough decision to make and I would like you to know that I am so proud of your bravery and dedication in fulfilling what you want to do in your life. It is so nice to know that you were finally able to clear your mind when it comes to the things that you want to do or your dreams. I have always wanted to do the same thing, unfortunately, things are not happening in my life the way I planned it. But I believe that one day, I will be able to make it and become successful as well someday. Anyway, please continue to live your life to the fullest because that it what you deserve to do.
